Pilot programme
Software for a medical laboratory: pilot programme
Orders, collection appointments, specimen labels, results by hand, CSV or HL7 import, the signed report, results in the patient app and the invoice work today. HL7 orders to analysers run as a pilot, set up per laboratory; there is no ASTM or serial connection.

What works today
-
Collection appointments
Appointment types per test panel, collection points as locations, online booking with free slots.
-
Orders from the doctor
Orders from a visit or the patient page, with order sets per specialty; a partner laboratory gets the request as PDF by email, your own laboratory gets it on its work list.
-
Labels and work list
Specimen labels with a QR code per tube, the in-house work list and a turnaround report.
-
Lab pack with 88 tests
88 tests and 11 panels with LOINC codes, units, reference ranges by sex and age, critical limits and prices; the ranges are to be reviewed by your laboratory physician.
-
Results by hand, CSV or HL7
Results entered, imported from CSV or from HL7 v2 ORU^R01 files or the API; an abnormal value raises a patient alert and a task for the ordering doctor.
-
Orders to analysers (pilot)
Each new order goes to the analyser as an HL7 ORM message, over MLLP or into a shared folder, with the specimen code; acknowledgements and rejections stay in the log, and results come back through the HL7 import.
-
Imaging from the PACS archive (pilot)
For centres with imaging: the study in the Orthanc archive is linked to the order by accession number, with a link to the DICOM viewer, also in the patient app.
-
Signed report and patient app
The result report as PDF; reviewed results in the patient app, with the evolution per analyte and a “results ready” notification.
-
Invoices, receipts, cash register
Invoices from orders, series and register sessions per collection point, receipts as PDF, e-Factura uploaded to the SPV (pilot), pay links.
-
Reagents in stock
Stock with lots and expiry dates, purchase orders and low-stock alerts.

Not entirely. Today it covers orders, appointments, labels, results entered or imported (CSV, HL7 v2), signed reports, results in the patient app and invoicing; HL7 orders to analysers run as a pilot, per laboratory. There is no ASTM or serial connection.
