Outpatient surgery, from the pre-op consult to suture removal

Your surgery templates are configured with you at onboarding: consult, consent, minor-procedure note and post-op instructions, on the same calendar, stock and invoice as the rest of the clinic.

Configurable templates

Runs on the encounter engine: we configure templates, documents and consents with you at onboarding, on the internal medicine pack’s observation sets, with BMI, eGFR and FINDRISC calculators included and others on request. Scheduling and invoicing work as usual, and a dedicated pack can be built on request. How the coverage levels work

What you get

  • Structured pre-op consult

History, local exam, pre-op tests and the indication for surgery as fields, in a template set up for your outpatient practice.

  • Consent signed on a tablet

The informed consent is generated from a template, in the patient’s language, and signed on a tablet before the procedure.

  • Consumables taken from stock

Sutures, local anaesthetic and dressings are deducted from stock by lot when the procedure note is signed; low-stock alerts tell you when to reorder.

  • Post-op instructions and prescription

Wound-care instructions, the medical letter and a private prescription checked for allergies and interactions come out of the signed visit as PDFs for the patient.

  • Pre-op tests and histology

Pre-op work-ups ordered from the consult as an order set, results entered or imported and reviewed by the surgeon; the histopathology report is attached next to the procedure note.

  • Invoice and CNAS

Invoice or receipt PDF from the signed visit, e-Factura uploaded to the SPV in Romania (pilot); CNAS reporting for contracted services works as a pilot.

How the day runs

  1. 01

A patient with a lipoma comes in for a consult; the surgeon books the excision in the minor-procedures room.

  2. 02

On the day, the patient signs the consent on a tablet at reception.

  3. 03

The procedure note is completed and signed; sutures and anaesthetic are deducted from stock.

  4. 04

The patient leaves with post-op instructions as a PDF; the invoice is created from the visit.

  5. 05

The suture-removal control is booked before they leave, with a reminder 48 h before.

Questions

Is there a dedicated general surgery pack?

General surgery runs on configurable templates: we set up your consult, consent, minor-procedure note and post-op instructions with you at onboarding. A dedicated pack can be built on request.

Can it handle admissions or an operating theatre?

Day admissions, yes, as a pilot: the day hospital (Clinic and Group plans) covers beds, vital signs, a light medication chart, nursing notes and the discharge summary. There is no operating theatre module, and full inpatient stays are not built.

How are consumables deducted?

Each procedure is linked to the consumables it uses. When the visit is signed they are deducted from stock by lot, earliest expiry first, and show up in the consumption report.
