What you get

  • Orders and order sets

    Doctors order from the visit or the patient page, with order sets per specialty; the order reaches your in-house work list, or a partner laboratory as a request PDF by e-mail.

  • QR labels and collection points

    Specimen labels with a QR code per tube and the request as PDF; collection booked online, with a cash register per collection point opened and closed by session.

  • Lab pack with LOINC

    88 tests and 11 panels with LOINC codes, units, reference ranges by sex and age, critical limits and prices; the ranges are marked for review by your laboratory physician.

  • Results by hand, CSV or HL7

    Results entered from the work list or imported from a CSV or an HL7 v2 ORU^R01 file or API call, then reviewed and signed; a turnaround report shows the delays.

  • Report and patient app

    The signed result report as PDF; reviewed results appear in the patient app with the evolution of each analyte, and a push tells the patient they are ready.

  • Alerts, invoices, CNAS

    An abnormal result raises a patient alert and a task for the ordering doctor; invoices come from the orders, with e-Factura uploaded to the SPV (pilot) and CNAS reporting as a pilot.

How the day runs

    The doctor orders a diabetes panel from the visit; the patient books an early-morning collection online.

  2. 02

    At the collection point the patient pays at the register and a QR label is printed for each tube.

  3. 03

    Samples go on the in-house work list; results come in by hand or from an HL7 or CSV file.

  4. 04

    The laboratory physician reviews and signs; an abnormal value creates a task for the ordering doctor.

  5. 05

    The signed PDF report goes out and the results appear in the patient app, with a “results ready” push.

Questions

What does the laboratory pilot programme mean?

You use what works today (orders and order sets, QR labels, the lab pack with LOINC, the work list, result import, the signed report, results in the patient app, invoicing), and we check the reference ranges and the import from your analysers’ software with you before go-live.

Do you connect to analysers?

As a pilot, through HL7: each new order goes to the analyser as an ORM message, over MLLP or into a shared folder, and results come back as ORU, by file or API. There is no ASTM or serial connection, so Clinesto does not yet replace a LIS for analyser-driven work.

Are there specimen labels?

Yes. Labels with a QR code per tube are printed from the order, together with the request as PDF. The specimen code also goes into the HL7 order to the analyser (pilot).
