1. Who we are
The clinesto.ro and clinesto.com websites and the app at app.clinesto.ro are operated by [Company name], company number [Company number], trade register number [Trade register number], registered address [Registered address] (“Clinesto”, “we”).
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others are used to track visitors or for advertising.
Cookies can be session cookies, deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, kept until a set expiry date. They can be set by the site you visit (first-party) or by another service (third-party).
The same rules apply to similar technologies, such as browser local storage.
3. The marketing website
The clinesto.ro and clinesto.com website sets no cookies of its own for tracking, advertising or profiling.
We do not use tracking pixels from social networks or advertising platforms.
4. Website analytics
If enabled, we use Plausible Analytics to measure traffic. Plausible:
- does not use cookies;
- does not collect personal data and does not store IP addresses;
- does not track visitors across sites;
- provides only aggregated statistics, such as visits per page, referral source and country.
The data is processed in the European Union. Details are in the Privacy notice.
5. The app at app.clinesto.ro
The app uses strictly necessary cookies only:

The app does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
6. Server logs and security
The servers hosting the website and the app automatically record incoming requests: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser. These logs do not use cookies. We keep them for 30 days to detect abuse and protect the service, then delete them.
7. Embedded content and external links
The website does not embed third-party videos, maps or share buttons that could set their own cookies. If we add such content, we will load it only after your consent.
The website may contain links to other sites, for example to providers or authorities. When you visit them, those sites’ cookie policies apply.
The app may use browser local storage only for technical preferences, such as language or display theme. This information stays on your device and is not used for tracking.
8. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under electronic communications law (Law no. 506/2004 in Romania and the ePrivacy Directive). Without them, the app’s login and security would not work.
Because we use no cookies that require consent, we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever introduce such cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
9. How to control cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Safari: Settings or Preferences, then Privacy.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the app. The marketing website works normally.

You can lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP, the Romanian data protection authority, www.dataprotection.ro. Users in Belgium may also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
